The Small Business Association of Australia has extended an invitation to Members of The Brisbane Club to attend a premium business breakfast and lively investment debate exploring one of the most enduring questions in wealth creation: equities or real estate?
With ongoing discussion surrounding negative gearing, capital gains tax and broader economic conditions, the investment strategies of many Australians remain firmly in focus. Bringing together respected voices from both the property and finance sectors, the morning will feature a considered 3-vs-3 debate examining the opportunities, risks and outlook for each asset class in today’s environment.

The debate will be moderated by Associate Professor Dr Brett Freudenberg of Curtin University, a leading taxation academic and member of the Small Business Association of Australia Think Tank.
Guests will enjoy tea, coffee and juice on arrival, followed by a plated breakfast with shared fruit platters and Danish pastries, alongside refreshments throughout the morning.
