To join The Brisbane Club, you must be proposed for membership by a current Member of The Club whose membership term exceeds 2 years.
Each Member proposal requires a Proposer and a Seconder (who have been Members for two or more years), and two Referees (both Club Members).
Each Member proposal is presented to the Principal Committee for consideration. Subject to their approval, a notice of pending Membership is placed on the notice board in the Member’s Lounge on Level 2, for 14 days.
During this time, Referees are contacted. After both referees have responded (provided there are no objections), Membership will be processed for payment of entrance and subscription fees.
Once you have received your Membership details, you are welcome to utilise the Club as frequently as you like.
