The Brisbane Club is a sanctuary from the hectic world in which we live. It is a place where Members, their families and guests gather to experience and benefit from the rich tapestry of life each contributes to the Club.

The concept of a sanctuary covers more than the comfortable, quiet places in which we can relax. It takes in the opportunity for refreshing conversation with people who will respect and broaden our views. It includes the warm reception and hospitality from employees and extends to the food and merriment at our events.

Providing this setting for interaction, lively discussion and the sharing of ideas and values, the forging of lifelong friendships is a common reward. It is this fellowship creating a sense of belonging that sets The Brisbane Club apart.

Musings of a Freshman

I like it when the group gathers, first Thursday of every month,
Debonair, dapper, dashing, a very distinguished bunch.
What is it, I ask, that attracts, such a fine collection of blokes?
The venue? The wine? The cuisine? Whitto’s fabulous jokes?
The reason is more profound, more than clubs, glasses and plates
A force binds enduringly, they’ve become life-long mates.
